Schëppe Siwen will headline the Culture Forest Festival in May.
Schëppe Siwen is likely the first name that comes to mind when you think of Luxembourgish folk music. This ten-member band captivates with their rich and diverse instrumental presence, featuring four trumpets, an accordion, piano, flute, fiddle, guitar, bass, and drums.
Pushing musical boundaries, Schëppe Siwen fuses folk, rock, polka, reggae, punk, and ska into a vibrant melting pot of sounds, while proudly singing in their native Luxembourgish. What began just for fun as a trio in a local pub has since evolved into one of Luxembourg's most influential folk-rock bands of the past decade.
